Portfolio Website

Web Developer

Brief

This portfolio website, built by me, demonstrates my skills in web and video game development using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. It features a modern design with sections on my skills, detailed project showcases, and my background. The site features a contact page for reaching out or exploring collaboration opportunities. This self-developed portfolio highlights my proficiency in developing responsive and engaging webpages.

What I Worked On:

  • Bootstrap Integration: I added a Bootstrap navbar to provide a consistent navigation experience.
  • Responsive Design: I implemented responsive design techniques, including hiding specific buttons on smaller devices to enhance usability.
  • Styling and Icons: I incorporated CSS and Bootstrap icons, and applied custom styling to enhance the visual appeal of the site.

Hero Section

The hero section is the eye-catching top part of a webpage, designed to grab visitors' attention right away. It typically features a large background image or video, a catchy headline, and a call-to-action button. I decided to include a photo of myself and a few buttons that take visitors to important parts of my site like my portfolio and resume.

How I Achieved This:

  • Set the background as a soft color to bring attention to the information.
  • Included a short about me under my name to provide a few details immediately on click.
  • Used Font Awesome icons to link my social media and contact information to visitors and potential employers.
